Show LOVETT IS BOUND FOR EAST President Lovctt and members of bis personal staff of tbo Harrlman system left San Francisco at noon today to-day for Ogdcn and will reach Sparks tonight on a special train with a fact schedule. At the latter point he will be met by General Manapi-r Bancroft, General Superintendent Darin. Superintendent Super-intendent Manson. Assistant Superintendent Superin-tendent FlttKerald, Chief Kniclneer Ashlon and Superintendent of Motive Tower Dunn and escorted over the Salt Lake division to this city. The trip will be made leisurely In order lo allow President Lovett to Inspect porUons of the road recently washed out, and tho party will probably prob-ably reach Ogden Saturday afternoon. After Inspectlns Improvement now being made In this city and sizing up local railroad conditions ineraJly, President Ixvett will visit Salt Lake briefly and return to Ogden en route next Sunday morning. Vice President and General Manager Man-ager A. L. Mohler of the Union Pacific Pa-cific system Is now cn route to O-rion O-rion to meet President Lovett and will escort the latter to Omaha on a special spec-ial trala. Mr. Mohler Is accompanied by General Superintendent Ware and these two officials will arrive In Ogden Og-den Saturday morning. East from Ogden Og-den the visiting magnates will be escorted es-corted as far as Rawlins by Superintendent Superin-tendent Jeffers of the Utah division. |
