Show RUBY MILL CLAIMS ' SHOW RICH GOLD ORE I Winncmucca Star: Re Chagnon , I and Frank Case have been in town for a few days from the new camp of Ruby Hill, situated on the south end of the Ditch Flat district. They state that work is going on steadily on their claims and wherever disclosures are made the ledge Is making good and the ore is retaining the rich values that were encountered on the surface. The workings on the property at the present time comprise a 6haft 45 feet deep, together'wlth drifts that are being be-ing run on the ledee. There are two open cuLs, some distance apart, proln? that the ledce Is continuous on tho surface. In all these openings the ore Is high grade, showing free gold and horn silver. A number cf applications have been made for leases on the property, prop-erty, but on account of negotiations in "progress for a sale of the claims, the owners could nbt comply with their requests at the present, although favorable favor-able to the proposition. They further state that Joe Wilson and Harry Aldrlch had located a number num-ber of valuable cinnabar claims a short distance from the Chagnon-Case property- and that they were now opening up "the deposit. With what work has been done the ore taken out shows a high percentage of qulcksiher. It Is the general opinion In camp that they have made an Important discovery of this valuable mineral. |
