THOMAS SUCCUM3S TO A LONG ILLNESS. i V7a$ Born In Pennsylvania In May, 1862 Family Was Prominent in .Affairs of Nebraoka. , The death of Louie Cams Thomas, ! wife of B. F. Thomas. 1186 Twenty-fourth Twenty-fourth street, occurred at 2:10 a. m., death resulting from cancer from which the deceased had been a sufferer suf-ferer for more than four years. Sue leaves a husband one son, John, aged 12, and a largo circle of friends to mourn her loss. Louie Carns Thomas was born May 18. 18C2. In Dutler. Pennsylvania, and was one of a family of nine brothers and sisters, none of whom survive except ex-cept one sister, MrcO Mary McDonald of Liberty, Nebraska. Mrs. Thomas removed to Seward. Nebraska, at an early age and lived for a number ot years with her brother, who was Lieutenant Lieu-tenant Governor Edmund C. Carns, prominent In Nebraska politics tor many years. It was in Seward that she met Mr. Thomas, whom she married November Novem-ber 18. "-1887. The children or this union, have been three in number, ono of whom died In infancy, Mary, who died In March, 1908, at tho age or 7 years, and John, aged 12. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas came to Og-den Og-den la 1893, at which time Mr. Thomas Tho-mas was the publisher of "The Evening Even-ing Press." Mrs. Thomas camo of a Mothodi3t family and since her coming to Og-den, Og-den, has made that church her choice. Rev. McCreery will conduct tho funeral fun-eral services which, have been set for Thursday at 2:30 p. m., at the residence, resi-dence, 1186 Twenty-fourth street. |
