Show JUDGE LANDIS' DECISION IS AGAIN REVERSED Chicago, Jan. 10. United States District Judge K. M. Landls, whose fine of $20,240,000 against tho Standard Stand-ard Oil company was reversed by the appellate court, was again reversed today, this time In a matter which he hod found In favor of the oil company. com-pany. The original case was filed In the state court by George F. Harding and other members of the Real Estate Loan & Tru9t company. They asked thnt receivers be appointed for tho Corn Products company. Tho Standard Stand-ard Oil company, which they claimed controlled the stock of the Corn Products Pro-ducts company, secured an Injunction from Judge Landls preventing the prosecution of the case in the state courts. Later one of the individual members of the trust company in his own name filed a second similar suit against which Judge Landls Issued a second injunction.; An appeal was taken and tho appellate court today held that Judge Landls should dismiss the original bill for an Injunction. |
