Show CLOSING QUOTATIONS OF WORLD'S MARKETS , SMALL GAINS IN OPENING STOCK3 New York. Jan. 15. Opening prices of siocks today were but slightly changed from last night. Gains wero the more numerous but there were a few small declines, including copper industrials. Dealings were on a liberal lib-eral scale. Tho market was without any special feature. The floating supply sup-ply of slock around the opening level lev-el was soon cleaned up.and bids were advanced until all of the important i stocks were ruling at substantial fractions frac-tions above yesterday's close. Protlt- i taking sales then began and most or the. rise was lost, though some of the. minor stock? continued In brisk demand. de-mand. The market was quiet, but fairly fair-ly steady at 11 o'clock. Strength of Wisconsin Central and I the Canadian Pnclfic group was tho feature on the belief in the coming inclusion of the former with the lat- . tc-r. Otherwise prices moved upward r.ud downward alternately without pronounced tendency. Wisconsin Central Cen-tral shot up C 3-4, while the preferred fell 1, Canadian Pacific rose 1 5 8. Minneapolis, St. Paul and Saulle St Marie preferred 1 1-2, Missouri Paciflo 1 1-4.
