Show I HOPES FOR THE END OF STRIKE Senator W H King Is hopeful of an early settlement of the railroad strike. If his hope is based on reli able information, the country should '' feel relieved. While the strike is on there must be apprehension and uncertainty as to what the future will bring forth The country desires a period free irom Industrial disturbance in which to recuperate, and while there is great labor unrest this is not possible. If the carriers and the men can be brought to agreement, the reconcila-tion reconcila-tion will help to reBtor confidence and confidence Is necessary to business busi-ness prosperity. |
