Ellison against the Ogden Packing & Provision company, James Pingree and others on an order issued by James N. Kimball of the district court for the defendants to show cause for holding certain stock alleged to be owned by Mr. EUlson. and why an in-Juneti. in-Juneti. d should not be issued refraining refrain-ing them from disposing of tho stock, was continued today until February 2T. The hearing was originally set for hearing Mils morning, but on motion of attorneys for the defendants, was continued. In a complaint recently filed by Mi. Ellison, he set forth that he intrusted stock valued nt more than $75,000 to James Plngrcc, when ho was president of ib.- ttdi-n Packing &. Provision company. He further set forth that when tho company was taken over b receivers the stock was held by them ami th y refused .0 return it.
