Show i'BIG CONVENTION OF CHRISTIANS IS URGED BY WILSON- WASHING-TON, May 13. President Wilson, in a letter to the Southern Baptist convention conven-tion here, said it was of "special "spe-cial significance and timeliness that a great Christian convention conven-tion should be held in Washington, Washing-ton, because the nation now faces nothing less than the question whether it is to help the Christian people in other parts of the world to release their ideals of justice and orderly or-derly peace." "I am sure," Mr. Wilson wrote, "that the nation will listen lis-ten with the gTeatest deference to the utterances of the convention." |
