Show Los Angeles Man Has Pocket Picked Carrying two heavy suit cases just as he was boarding Oregon Short Line train, No. 29. for Idaho, Ira Price of Los Angeles was jostled by two strangers. Immediately , after ho discovered dis-covered that his pockets had been picked and that cash amounting to $105, certificates of deposits on the Utah Savings and Trust company of Salt Lake, Walkor Brothers of Salt Lake, and the Merchants National bank of Los Angeles had been stolen-Tho stolen-Tho certificates of deposits amounted to ?1,100, he reported. Officers immediately set out in search of the missing property which was located, with the exception of tho cash, at the comer of Twenty-third Twenty-third street and Grant avenue. No trace of the robbers have been found. nn |
