Show WOUNDED SOLDIERS ARE ENTERTAINED AT CANTEEN Seventy soldiers, mostly from eastern eas-tern states who were recently sent to the Pacific coast for mustering out of the military service, passed through Ogden early this morning on their wav to an eastern camp. Through some oversight, the boys, when they landed from France, were ordered to the Pacific co.ist. They are now being sent back to an eastern eas-tern camp to be mustered out. All of the boys lived in states east of the Mississippi river. They arrived In Ogden shortly after 7 o'clock and found the canteen workers ready to receive them. They were given hot coffee and doughnuts and a light breakfast. The men were mostly wounded, but none of them in a very serious condition. Forty more boys were later entertained enter-tained at the canteen. They arrived on train No 10 from the east en route to the Presidio. Another largo contingent of wounded wound-ed is expected to pass through Ogden tomorrow morning en route to the Letterman hospital. |
