As a result of the collision, the street car ran Its length off the track and the auto was damaged dam-aged considerably. In speaking of the accident today. The car was a Haynes. As we approached Twenty-lhird street the auto ahead of as speeded up and crossed the street car track. I did not see the street car until I got to tho edge of the street I threw on the brakes but the auto slid to the car tracks so the front end of it was even with the track The one-man street; car hit the machine, and then left the I rails going about Ps length upon the ground. The motorman was driving his car at great speed." Maw estimated tho damage to the auto at $50F.
