Show Conferences on Reopening of Trade and Peace Action May Be Held at London LONDON. May 2 S. Gregory Kras-sin, Kras-sin, Russian bolshevik minister of trade and commerce, had only a brief word for the press when he arrived in London this afternoon. "We are here under certain obligations," said the minister, "and can say nothing now. But you will hear from us perhaps per-haps In a few days." M. Krassln, was greeted by a large number of Russians as. accompalned by his wife, he stepped off thc train. Ho proceeded to tho hotel where M. Nogin, M. Rosovsky and M. Klishke. members of the Russian trado commission, com-mission, havo been quartered for the past two weeks. This, coupled with thc fact that M. Krassin Is coming as thc head of tho co-operative delegation, would seem j to give ground for the reports that M. Nogin and his colleagues who havo been in communication with the foreign fore-ign office, have partly cleared tho 'way for decisions to which the assont of a plenipotentiary such as M. Krassln Is said to be necessary. ' Should. theso preliminaries be satis-1 factorlly concluded it Is believed that' allied representatives may bo appoint-1 ed to enter into formal trade reopen-I ihg or peace conferences. It is even J suggested that M. Krassln may bo in- vlted to attend the Spa conference. - IH |
