Show Protest Proposed Ban on Highway Materials Protests are being sent to Thomas Dewitt Cuyler, chairman of the Interstate Inter-state commerco commission at Wasn-lngton, Wasn-lngton, D. C, and to R. H. Ashton. president of tho American Railway association, also at "Washington, D. C, regarding the reported Intention of the Association of Railway Executives, urging the Interstate commerco commission com-mission to refuse cars and transportation transport-ation for all highway work both that already under way and new in order to divert materials to tho railroad field. Secretary O. J. Stilwell of the Ogden Og-den chamber of conlmerce says that all stato highways city and county officials, of-ficials, commercial clubs, chambers ot commerce and other kindred organizations organ-izations have been urged to vigorously protest the curtailment of this most important phaso of the nation's development. de-velopment.
