Show BODY OF DEAD ill IS FOUND MI'S CAM Firmly Imbedded in four feet of snow, and showing signs of decomposition, decompo-sition, the body of a man, supposed to. be T. H Tun' of Salt Lake, was found shortly after 3 o'clock this morning by members of the police force, following follow-ing a report from I'hil Jeppson r-.nd Ira T. Terr . who had stumbled over the remains while hiking in the mountains yesterday. The body had evidently been torn by coyotes A search of the dead man's clothes disclosed a small purse containing 56 cents and a note book in which the1 name T. H. Tury occurred four times It is thought by the police that the man is one who has been missing from Salt Lake for some time. Whether or not the man had been murdered or had committed suicide has not been determined. It is ex-jpected ex-jpected that the body will be brought into ogden before eveninc. The body was located in deep snow-near snow-near the top of the first ravine to the risht in Taylor's canyon. It had evidently evi-dently Iain there for some tlmo inasmuch inas-much as it had frozen in the now-after now-after the first stages of decomposition: had set in. Officers Ed Butterfleld. Harry Armstrong Arm-strong and Eerett Noble, accompanied accompa-nied by Lysis Larkin are taking the body from the snow. Sergeant George Carey, County Attorney At-torney Jos B. B.-tfcs and other otficers made up the searching party last , nisht and early this morning. |
