Show IKEi OLSEN CASE i COMES UP TOMORROW Whether a drink of liquor was meant as pay or hospitality is a question ques-tion entering the case of tho state against Hoken Olsen, charged with violation of the liquor law, which will come up for a hearing tomorrow In tho district court. District Attorney Dobbs yesterday asked that the trial be postponed post-poned until he could get Junior Froer-er, Froer-er, one of tho state's principle witnesses wit-nesses to Ogden from Camp Lewis, American Lako, Wash. Counsel for Olsen, however, said his side would admit all of Froeror's evidence so that it would not be necessary to bring him here and on this agreement Judge Pratt continued the caso only until Wednesday. It appears that Olsen had a Jug of liquor carried to Huntsville for him by two young men of that district and that when the liquor was delivered ho gave them a drink. Whether this was pay or a mere act of hospitality will enter Into the case. The offense was committed under the 1915 liquor laws and before tho state went dry. |
