Show fiEN. KORNHOFF NOT GUILTY OF TREASON PETROGRAD, Oct. 15. General Chablovsky, president of the commission commis-sion of inquiry into the Kornlloff affair, af-fair, has returned to Pctrograd and in an interview with local newspapermen declared that he did not see in the actions of General Kornlloff and thq other accused officers any character of high treason. It was proved, he said, that General Kornlloff throughout through-out tho movement committed no act of a nature to weaken tho fighting front. General Chablovsky expressed tho opinion that Gonoral Kornlloff can be I sentenced only under article 100 dealing deal-ing with attempts against the established estab-lished regime and involving tho penalty pen-alty of life imprisonment. Clergy Is Barred. PETROGRAD, Oct. 15. The orthodox ortho-dox council, at a meeting in Moscow, has decided against permitting the clergy to participate in the provisional parliament. oo |
