Show j i heaters AT THE ORPHEUM The production of "The Eyes of the World" at the Orpheum takes on special spe-cial authority by reason of the fact that Harold Bell Wright, the author of the book which has broken all records as "best sellers," with a sale of over one million copies, had an active personal per-sonal hand in the work of interpreting interpret-ing his characters for the screon. To do this Mr. Wright gavo up all his literary lit-erary activities. Such a co-ordination of famous writer, producer and studio working forco never having been known since motion pictures evolved from tho novelty period to the undertaking under-taking of clanema features of many reols and tho same care that is put into tho preparation of tho greatest spectacles of the theater. "The Eyes of the World" Is a story of California-- For the film production the author has added a prologue which goes back to Boston a generation before be-fore the opening scenes of the book and shows tho origin of his characters. This is said to greatly increase interest in-terest in the people of the story. i |
