IE AUTOMOBILE' IS I WAR AID PEACE NECESSITY The automobile, as a great economic econo-mic necessity, was thoroughly demonstrated dem-onstrated in the war and that it did much to win the war is quite beyond question, says Manager L. L. Hains of the Ogden Motor Car company, and they were supplied without stint or specific stipulation, all countries engaged en-gaged in the war using them in very largo numbers. It is certain that it would have been next to impossible to have brought the war to an early conclusion con-clusion had It not been for tho nuto service given. Equally important has the motor propelled machine proven to be in limes of peace as a commercial vehicle ve-hicle and, now that the war is over, business activity Is going to be mora brisk than in the past, thus calling into requisition more automobiles than ! ever before, both for business and other purposes. Standard cars, continues con-tinues Mr. Hains, are going to play a very important part In the great reconstruction re-construction work pf the country and I in the prosecution of enlarged Industrial Indus-trial affairs. "In my judgement the auto manufacturing manu-facturing plants will be taxed to their capacity to make cars for the market, so great will be the demand, and it is very likely that it will bo some time before an adeqnate supply can be furnished. fur-nished. The dealers will simply have to operate on the plan of 'first come, first served.' The early orders will be given early attention and all others must take their turn for delivery.
