Show 111 Kl 1 GOOD SE1 OFF BT EASTERNER That Ogden is becoming known in the east as a city desirable for residence resi-dence on account of Its healthy climate cli-mate and other advantages, is shown by the following letter and clipping that was received by Mayor Heywood this morning. The letter is" from Quincy brother, of Sprinfleld, Mass., managers of the Electric Maintenance & Repair company. The letter is as follows: "Board of Trade, or Mayor, Ogden, Utah. Gentlemen We' have been considering con-sidering for some time moving west because our health is not at all good in this locality. The enclosed letter we clipped from the Springfield Union. The fellow that wrote for the information, informa-tion, no doubt feels the same as we do. 'This letter is from two brothers who own the business described above, and we are anxious to know if you think we could advantageously locate in your city in this or some other branch of electric work. "Information that you believe will interest us, If forwarded to our address ad-dress will be much appreciated by, "Yours very truly, (Signed) "QUINEY BROS.. "By L. R. Quiney." The clipping that accompanied the letter follows: "Suggests Ogden;" Utah City Recommended Rec-ommended to Inquirer. Seeking Healthful Health-ful Locality. "To the Editor of the Union In reply to the young man who wrote for advice as to some place to go for change of climate and improvement of health, I would suggest that he locate lo-cate in Ogden, Utah. "Ogden Is 36 miles north of Salt Lake City. It is sheltered on all sides by the beautiful Wasatch mountain range, is blessed with an abundance of sunshine almost every day in the year, is situated in an altiude of 4,300 feet far enough above sea Lovel to bo free from humidity and has a well-balanced climate with well defined de-fined seasons. "Ogden's climate has wooed and won skeptics who have tried other parts of America. Where a balmier climate enervates; that of Ogden energizes; en-ergizes; where a soporific climate softens and depresses, Ogden's inspires in-spires and makes one more hardy. The city is a trading center for a rich farming district, a great stock raising district and a splendid mining country. coun-try. The population Is about 35,000. "One will find the people of Ogden good friends and fine neighbors, no matter what one's religious tendencies tenden-cies may be. This is contrary to the impression that is prevalent hero In the east I hope some of these suggestions sug-gestions will be of benefit to tho in-quiror. in-quiror. "WASATCH.
