Show Strong Service Football Teams To Meet Today NEW YORK, Nov. 23 Four of the strongest service football teams in the cast meet in a doubleheader for the benefit of the united war work campaign cam-paign at the Polo Grounds this afternoon after-noon the Newport naval training station sta-tion vs tho United States receiving-ship receiving-ship Granite State, and the Harvard Radios vs the Princeton aviators. A number of former college stars appeared ap-peared in the lineups of tho elevens. Youngstrom of Dartmouth and Qulg-ley, Qulg-ley, Conwny and Lynch of Holy Cross played with Newport while Vicery, of Penn State, Wilcox of Swarthmore. and Ernest of Pennsylvania were among stars with Granite State. An even greater wealth of collegiate material was represented in the Harvard -Princeton contest, including Bolen, or Ohio state, Carver of Montana, Gellaty of Washington University, Murray of Georgetown and Stein, of Washington and Jefferson. oo- |
