Show IRISH TO RESIST CONSCRIPTION DUBLIN. April S The corporation of the city of Dublin today adopted a resolution warning the British government govern-ment against "disastrous results of any attempt to force conscription upon Ireland " The resolution adds that such an "insane proposal" would be resisted violently by every town and village in Ireland. An addendum to the resolution requests re-quests the lord mayor to invite Jobn Dillon and Joseph Devlin. Nationalist leaders; Professor de Valers aud Arthur Ar-thur Griffiths. Sinn Fein leaders, and representatives of the Irish trades union congress to meet him in conference con-ference to plan united Irish opposition to conscription |
