Show ii onus NATIONAL GUARD POCATELLO, Idaho, Dec. 30. It has been announced by Governor Alexander Alexan-der that one of the four companies of the national guard battalion which is at once to be organized pursuant to authority au-thority which has just been given by the brigadier general of the national army, will be located in Boise. The other three companies will be stationed station-ed in the three cities first presenting muster rolls of 100 or more men between be-tween the ages of 18 and 45. The Idaho battalion is required to conform In every way to the conditions governing the national guard during times of peace, except that each company must have a minimum of 100 men. The stationing of the different companies, com-panies, enlistment of the men, appointing appoint-ing of ofFicers, securing armories and storage facilities, designation of home rendezvous and the making of applications appli-cations to the national military bureau for inspection and federal recognition of the troops are all to be left to the state authorities. |
