Show I Jf . Deaths and Funerals WALKER Maryette Calvin Walker, 1 wife of tho lato John E. Walker, died at hor homo arEden Saturday morning, morn-ing, at 12:30 o'clock after an Illness dating only from Friday afternoon. Mrs. Walker had made a trip to Ogdon Og-don to visit hor brother, a patient at tho Deo hospital, and returned to Edon in tho evening not feeling vory well, Her condition rapidly became worse until sho passed away at 12:30. She was born at Montfort, Utah, October 31, 185S. Sho was an active-worker In tho Mormon church. Sho is survived by the following chlldron: John C. Walker of Lyman, Wyo.; Mrs. Boll Thurston and Mrs. Delia Ferrln of Ogden, Og-den, Charles H. Sevlo and Mrs. Geneva Mapos of Lyman, Wyo.; Lester V., Elva and Clevo Walker of Eden. The funeral service was hold today at 1 o'clock In tho Edon ward chapel, and Interment wus In tho Huntsvlllo cemetery. ceme-tery. StATER Mrs. Annio E. Slater dlod at noon Sunday at her residence at Mlddleton, Ogden Valley, following a short Illness with plouro-pneumonin. She was born in Denmark in 1330 and came to Utah sixty-two years ago as a Mormon convort. Sho crossed the plains in a handcart company and located lo-cated at Mlddleton, which has been hor homo ever slnco. Her husband, Nathan Slater, died fifteon years ago, She is survived by a brother, Pete Larson of Lehl, Utah. Tho body was taken to the Llnqulst mortuary pending pend-ing funeral arrangements. WHEELER Mrs, Helen Wheeler, wife of J. R. Wheoler, Jr., died at 1 P. m., yosterday at the residence, 173 Twenty-fourth street She is survived by her husband and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jones. The body was taken to the Ivirkendall mortuary to be prepared for burial. Funeral arrangements ar-rangements will be announced later. WOOD The funeral of Mrs. Alice K. Wood was held yesterday afternoon in the Eleventh ward chapel with Bishop N. A. Tanner officiating. The speakers were EJlders V. K. Belnap, William Crane, William Pickett. D. F. Steele and Bishop Tanner. The music was furnished as follows; "When I Havo Crossed the Great Divide, Pauline Christensen; "Hope Beyond." duet by Peter and Joseph Fernellus; "Face to Face" and "After," solos by Mrs. Mary Farley. Interment was In the Ogden City cemetery, the grave being dedicated by Elder Frank R. Watkins. WHEELER Helen Wheeler, 17-year-old wife of John A. Wheeler, Jr., passed away yesterday at the family home, 173 Twenty-fourjh street Funeral services will be held tomorrow tomor-row at 2:30 o'clock in the Kirkendall chapel.
