Show RAYMOND WILSON NOW IN ENGLAND Writing from England, to his folks In Ogden, Raymond Wilson says: "Soraowhere In England, July 8, 1918. "Dearest Folks: Arrived here safely (last night. We sure had one fine trip. : Everything was great on tho ship except ex-cept for it being a bit crowded. Tho ship curved around a lot to miss being hit by submarines, there was only ono sighted and it d soon hit the trail. "We had a different -1th of July this year than last. We wero on tho ocean. Tho only fireworks was a 21 -gun salute sa-lute at noon. Wo also had band concerts con-certs daily and different sports. Nor-, mand and myself wero not one bit sick. There wore only a few who were as we had pretty smooth sailing all of the way, but it was rather cold In placos. We slept in hammocks, It was pretty hard, not being used to them, but I nevor fell out of it though. "I sure had a fine time in New York City. I visited Coney Island and took in the sights in an auto. "How aro all the neighbors around home, and how are all of you folks? I hope you are well, and don't worry about me." |
