I William H Manning, a member of ' the Weber academy faculty for the past three years, has accepted the su-perintendency su-perintendency of the Summit county schools and will assume the duties of the position at the beginning of the fall semester. He will havo supervision supervi-sion over the work of approximately forty instructors, serving in the Coalville Coal-ville high school and tho following district dis-trict schools- Coalville, East Coalville, Upton, Pineview, Hoytsville, Wanship, Rockport, Echo, Henefer and Grass Creek. Professor Manning was instructor in biology at the Ogden Mormon school and is a native of Hooper, Weber We-ber county. He received his higher education at the University of Utah and will take up post-graduate work at this Institution this summer. He is also a tenor singer of some experience exper-ience and this talent, too, will doubtless doubt-less make him more than welcome in his prospective field of latior. |
