Show oo LAST OF THE AIR RAIDS. Once more the Zeppelins have raided raid-ed England. Taking advantage of clouded skies the airships mado an attack at-tack which proved a failure. Our opinion is the Zeppelins are no longer looked upon by the Germans as highly effective, but are employed to keep a large forco of British constantly constant-ly on tho alert, watching for aerial bombardments. There must bo thousands thous-ands of guns and a very largo number of aeroplanes in England and Scotland, Scot-land, devoted entirely to warding off possiblo Zeppelin raids. Today's attack Is tho first since March 17, when a Zeppelin was shot down on its return Journey. The British havo mastered the airship air-ship and, according to the two last reports on ships sunk, aro about to reduce re-duce the U-boat menace to far below alarming proportions. oo |
