Show 11 FEINERS Refuse to Participate in Irish Convention Unless Certain Conditions Are Fulfilled. DUBLIN, May 24, 2:40 p. m. The Sinn Fein conference today unanimously unani-mously resolved to decline to participate partici-pate in any conference "called by tho English government ostensibly to settle set-tle the Irish question" until the following fol-lowing conditions aro fulfilled: First That tho terms referring the question to the conference leave It free to decree the complete independence indepen-dence of Ireland. Second That the English government govern-ment publicly pledge itself to the United States and the powers of Europe Eu-rope to ratify the decision of a majority ma-jority of the conference. Third That the convention consist of none but persons freely elected by the adult suffrage of Ireland. Fourth That prisoner of war treatment treat-ment is accorded the Irish prisoners arrested during the recent revolution. |
