Cummings inquiring as to the sentl-I sentl-I ment of the people of this section of j Bannock county as regards county di-' i vision. Two maps were inclosed which show I th proposd division lins, one showing Downey and Lava Hot Springs in the proposed new county of Downey and the other leaving these jdaces, with Poeatello. in Bannock county. The division proposed is to split the Hi-sent Bannock county into three sections, the dividing line following the natural boundary provided by the range of mountains running north and south. Downey desires to be the county seat of one of the projected new coun- ties and Bancroft, Grace and Soda Springs are aspirants for the position 1 of county seat of the other.
