The! cause of death was inflamatory rheumatism rheu-matism and the decedent had been confined to bis bed three weeks. Mr. Grondel was horn in The Hague, Holland, Hol-land, February 25, 18 49, the son of I John and Andre ca Muller Grondel. He was married to Mary E. Pasman in Holland in 1S76 and came to Ogden ten years ago as a Mormon convert. Tin- cltj had been his permanent home since that time. He was employed em-ployed at tho Boyle furniture store. Hi- wife and the following children' survive: John O. Grondel, peter Grondel, Gron-del, Mrs. Mario Shulz and Mrs. Rena Johnson, all of Ogden, and two sons and two brothers in Holland The body was removed to the Ltndquist mortuary and the funeral announcements announce-ments will be made later.
