Oiicago Quotations CHICAGO, Sept. 29 Corn developed develop-ed strength today, influenced by liberal lib-eral purchasing that was attributed in part to investment based on the feeding feed-ing value of com as compared with prices of livestock. Unexpected cooler weather, together with frost indications, indica-tions, tended also to harden values. Opening quotations ranged from the same as yesterday's finish toc higher high-er at $1.17 to $1.18 for December and $1.15 to $1.15 for May, were followed by a material upturn all around. Continued demand from export interests in-terests gave strength to oats. Besides, arrivals here remained small. Provisions weakened from lack of support. Buyers appeared to have withdrawn with-drawn temporarily from tle market owing to recent sharp upturns in the prices. Week-end evening-up of trades prevented pre-vented any important reaction. The close was unsettled, c to iyv01c net higher, at $1.1801.18 to $1.18 01.18 for December and $1.15 to $1.15 for May. Toward the last of the session some rallies took place in provisions as a result of firmness in the hog market. CHICAGO QUOTATIONS. Open. High. Low. Close. Wheat-No Wheat-No trading.
