Show CLUB FORUM HOME CULTURE CLUB. Mrs. Robert G. Agee was hostess to the members of tho Homo Culture club Thursday afternoon, September 27, at her home, 1185 Twenty-sixth street. "Utah" was the subject for tho day's study. Some very instructive papers followed and wore "Utah History," His-tory," by Mrs. Clayton Coolidge: "Utah Forests," Mrs. Harry Beauvord; "Celebrities," "Ce-lebrities," Mrs. n. R. YOUNG MATRONS' SEVING CLUB. The Young Matrons' Sowing club resumed re-sumed its mdetings on Thursday after a two months' vacation. The club met with Mrs. Bert Whitley at her homo in ; the Argylo apartments. The rooms were pretty in fall flowers and those present Included Mrs. Ralph Emorson, Mrs. Edwin Bader, Mrs. George Whlt-meyer Whlt-meyer and Mrs. George AbbotL Delicious De-licious refreshments were served and the club will hold its next meeting with Mrs. Edwin Bader. Card Club. Mrs. Fred E. Willi.ims entertained her 500 club last Thursday afternoon at hor homo. 2870 Wall avenue. Twelve membors were present and one guest, Mrs. Richard Hoyt. Tho Williams' homo was mado doubly doub-ly attractive with bouquets of varicolored vari-colored asters and cosmos. Soven games of 500 were enjoyed and tho lucky players were Mrs. Gysln and Mrs. Davis. Later Mrs. Williams served serv-ed refreshments. Many ladles of tho Golf and Country Coun-try club are turning thoir interest to swimming just now nnd members who formerly have glvon up most of their, time to golf are enjoying daily excursions excur-sions to tho Hot Springs, where inv promptu partios are formed. Mrs. Archie Bigelow Is ono of the swimming enthusiasts nnd is dividing her time between the golf links and the springs during these fine September days. Girls' Friendly Society. One of tho charming club meetings of the week was hold at tho Scuddor home on Tuesday ovenlnjr, when the Misses Martha and Louise Scuddor entortalned tho Girls' Frlondly society. Games and music woro enjoyed nnd delicious de-licious refreshments topped tho evening's even-ing's pleasure. This Interesting club of girls will meet overy Tuesday oven-Ing oven-Ing at tho Parish house, boginnlng with October 2, under tho leadership of tho deaconess, Miss Cheppard. Utopia Club. Mrs. D. Leo Madsen wns hostess to tho Utopia club Wednesday afternoon at hor homo on Twenty-sixth street. Tho afternoon was spent in cards and was followed by tho service of dainty refreshments. The Acncla club announces an assembly as-sembly for Wednesday, October 5, at the home of the president, Mrs. Lei Roy Pugmlro, 2521 Van Buren avenue. Tho Fldelus club will meet next Saturday Sat-urday afternoon at 4 o'clock, with Mrs. Milton Wilcox as hostess. A program of unusual Interest has been arranged for the meeting. Hereafter the club will meet every alternate week, owing ow-ing to other demands on the time of these active girls. Ladles' Literary Society. The Ladies' Literary club will meet October 3 with Mrs. John Culley at her home, 2579 Monroe avenue. Child Culture Club.
