Show PRESIDENT WILSON MAKES NOMINATIONS WASHINGTON, Sept. 29. The following fol-lowing were nominated today by President Pres-ident Wilson to the three vacancies on the interstate commerce commission: Robert W. Woolley of Virginia, for the term ending December 31, 1920. Clyde B. Aitchison of Oregon, for the term ending December 31, 1921. George W. Anderson of Boston, Mass., for the term ending in 1922. Charles R. Pago of California was nominated to the federal ' shipping board. Gwynne Gardner was nominated to be commissioner of the District of Columbia. Thomas A. Coleman of San Antonio, Tex., to be collector of customs at San Antonio. Zach L. Cobb to be collector of customs cus-toms at El Paso, Tex. Emon O. Mahoney of Eldorado, Ark., to be United States attorney for the western Arkansas district. Charles L. Dicker to be general land surveyor of Wyoming. Thomas E. Owen to be receiver of public monies at Clayton, N. M. Charles Mansfield to be receiver of public monies at Williston, N. D. Paz Valverde to be land office register regis-ter at Clayton, N. M. Hampson Gary of Texas, assistant solicitor of the state department, to be consul general at Cairo, Egypt. The fuel administration today named two more state fuel administrators administra-tors as follows: Nevada E. H. Walker of Carson City. Washington David Whitcomb, Seattle. |
