Show Deaths and Funerals LEAVITT. The funeral of Louis Leavltt was held yesterday afternoon In the Second ward chapel, with BIbIi-op BIbIi-op Robert McQuarrle presiding. Many friends and relatives of the deceased attended the service and his bier was covered with a wealth of floral tributes. trib-utes. The speakers were President James Wotherspoon, E. A. Larkln and George Shorten. The Eagles' quartette, quar-tette, composed of Frank Rose. Charles Blair, George Welsh and Bert Syphers, sang "The Vacant Chair" and "Lead Kindly Light;" the solos, "A Perfect Day" and "The Rosary" Ros-ary" were sung by Harry Knowlden and the violin solo. "Traumeril" was plaved by James Rackham with plane acompaniment by Professor Larson. Interment was in the city cemetery, the grave being dedicated by Bishop McQuarrie. BROWN Funeral services for Geo. Brown, well-known pioneer of Utah and Ogden, who walked across the plains in 1863, will bo held In the Episcopal church of the Good Shepherd, Shep-herd, Wednesday at 2:30 p. m. The casket will be open to friends at the residence of , Mrs. Thomas F. Potter, 663 Twenty-seventh street, from 10 a. m. to 12:45 p. m., tomorrow, and from 1 to 1:30 p. m. at the church. |
