Show RAILROADS CALL OFF EMBARGOES Abandon Preparations for War as Congress Work to Secure Se-cure Peace. Managers Hold No Meetings, Believing Adamson Bill Will Pass Senate. Chicago, Sept 2. Railroads of the country abandoned preparations for war today and rewarded to those for peace.
