Show ACOUSTICS AT THE ALHAMBRA The perfecting the acoustics of the Alhambra theatre was completed today to-day by the workmen of the Johns-Mansvllle Johns-Mansvllle company of Detroit, and tonight to-night a special committee of local people will pass on its merit. Before entering into a contract for the work, the eastern company agreed that it would not expect any part of the ?5000 contract price, if the system Installed was not satisfactory. The contract called for placing a layer of felt three Inches thick on all the smoot hsurfaces of the walls and ceiling. This has been done, five tons of the felt having been used. rr |
