Show BAMBERGER WRECK OCCURS NEAR FARMINGTON At about 8:30 o'clock this morning, at a point a short distance south of Farmington, a rear-end collision occurred oc-curred between a Bamberger work train and a passenger car. The passenger pas-senger car had stopped to talcc on milk cans when an electric locomotive pulling a work train carrying Japanese Japan-ese workmen, plunged into the rear end. The rear trucks of the passenger car were driven out of position and those in the car received a general shaking up. A number of persons were bruised. Mrs. Kato Huston, of No. 2648 Adams avenue, was thrown quite violently against one of the seats, Injuring her head. The nervous shock was quite severe and she was returned to Ogden Og-den on the next car coming north. She was taken to Dr. C. F Osgood for medical treatment and afterwards removed to her home, the doctor stating stat-ing that her injuries were confined principally to nervous shock. The collision was duo to a heavy fog which prevailed over the Valley from Layton to Salt Lake. |
