As usual with the strong University of Utah basketball basket-ball team, it was nearly beaten in the first half of its basketball game, but came back in the second half with a burst of speed which Bmothered Its opponents and won an interesting' game here 29 to 14. Easily the feature was the strong playing of Lowell Romney at guard. He held his opposing forward, Bernt-son. Bernt-son. to one field goal, played the floor well and also caged five field baskets, bas-kets, more than any other player. Captain Bunny Clark of the invaders invad-ers reversed his performance of a week ago against the Aggies, making lour field baskets. Packer, the star right forward, was able to get only one, as was Van Pelt at center. However, How-ever, both these men were Invaluable Invalua-ble In feeding the ball to the scorers. Coach Norgren,'s team plays the Aggies in Smart gymnasium tomorrow tomor-row and judging from the victory tonight to-night should have a fairly easy time as the Aggies are crippled, Center Whltwer and Guard Price being on the sick list. Bill Goodrich made his appearance at guard for the Utah aggregation, after a long layoff due to sickness. The score: Utah. B. Y. C.
