CLUBS STRONG Giants, Dodgers and Yankees All Pretty Fair Appearing Appear-ing Teams. New York, February 19. Boston beats that it has a chance for the pennants pen-nants of both big league this year, with the champion Red Sox trying to repeat in the American and tho Braves trying to come back in the National. Chicago offers the same sort of bravado onhalf of Joe Tinker's Tink-er's combined Cubs and Whales in the older league and Clarence Rowland's expensive all-star White Sox in the younger. With this situation, somebody some-body is bound to bo disappointed. Three other cities have representation representa-tion in both league St. Louis, Philadelphia Phila-delphia and New York.
