Show oo PRICE CHL TO IE H PUT A flotation plant for the recovery ot the values in the dumps at tho Prince Consolidated ground in the Pl-oche Pl-oche mining district at Ploche, Nov., will be erected by the company. Practically Prac-tically all of the equipment has been ordered, and it Is believed that the plant will be In operation not later ihaa July. Relative to the recovery that can be made, tho tonnage that has been measured up and tho process, pro-cess, General Manager Murray C. God-be God-be says: "During the year many tests have been made to determine the best process pro-cess for the treatment of this material, mate-rial, which consists of 120,158 measured mea-sured tons in the two pits, the average aver-age assay being 110 ounces gold, 10.6 ounces silver and 6 7 per cent lead. The best results having been obtained in a preliminary way by means of oil flotation, a complete test plant was Installed at the mine by C. F. Sherwood, Sher-wood, metallurgical engineer, and a series of tests made, employing that process. The results were highly satisfactory. sat-isfactory. An average samplo was, then taken to Salt Lake and check tested by the General Engineering company of that place." Mr. Sherwood, having the direction of this work, has mado a complete report re-port in every detail, and the following excerpts are from his report: "Figuring the value of the product obtained from flotation at its market value on the basis of $6 per 300 pounds of lead and So cents per ounce of silver, sil-ver, with smelter deductions, we "have a recoverable value per ton of. tall Ings of 58.018. Deducting the total cost of handling and obtaining these values of $4,255, which costs Include all overhead charges, amortization or plant, etc., leaves a total net profit per ton from flotation of tailings treated of ?3.76. This on 120,000 tons amounts to 5451,200, net revenue de rived from tailings. It Ib the writer's opinion that the recoyeries will be 1 greater In actual practice than those we have figured. "Work has been done along the lines of cyanldlng the tailings aitei flotation to increaso the gold and silver sil-ver recovery, and I am confident that it win realize at least ?18G,400 net revenue, "Conclusions From the above and tho work that I have dono on your tailings, I strongly recommend that work at once be started upon the erection erec-tion of the mill. You have In actual sight, sure of recovery, 461,200 from flotation, net, with tho additional recovery re-covery by cyaniding of $186,400. Using Us-ing extremely conservative figures In making this estimate, It is the writer's opinion that the net recovery will be in excess of $700,000. oo |
