A numher of members of the order of the Knights of Columbus received an anonymous letter today threatening threaten-ing dire results to the organization,' If it Ib not disorganized lnstanter. The letter purports to come from an association asso-ciation designated as the "United States Constitutional Protective Association." Asso-ciation." The Intimation is that the power of the Popo Is manifest in the organization and that It is derogatory to American liberty. The letter follows: fol-lows: "United States Constitutional Protective Protec-tive Association, "Ogden, Utah, April 4th, 16. V "Knights of Columbus. At this tlmo when our Brothers across the sea are at arms against each other, and not knowing when America will be called Into the struggle, we have organized the above association for the protection protec-tion of our government, and It is the purpose' of this Order to weed out all the obstacles which stand in the way of the advancement of our country. "We take this means of conveying to you, and all other Knights of Columbus Co-lumbus Orders, to disorganize, and realizing that the sooner this Is accomplished ac-complished the better it will be for our Nation, we therefore demnnd of you not to attend any further meetings of your Order. Your compliance with this request will not only be appreciated, appreciat-ed, but by doing so you will avoid the consequences which are sure to result if you fall to comply. "Do you wish a copy of the Oath you have taken distributed among the many homes in the United States? You can only avoid this embarrassment, embarrass-ment, and the additional consequences by complying with this request. "Be Loyal American Citizens and not subject to the Popo!
