Show EIGHTY TEACHERS TO HIKE TO TAYLOR CANY01 Weather conditions permitting, Superintendent Su-perintendent W. N. Petterson and about 80 teachers in the Weber county coun-ty schools will hike to Taylor's canyon, can-yon, next Saturday, with Professor J. H. Paul of the state university to study nature. ' ,,.. Professor Paul, who is at the heaa of the nature study department of the University, has given a number of lectures to the Weber county teachers of late on birds, Insects and flowers and the teachers became so much interested that it was determined determin-ed to take a trip with him to the mountains to see and study, first handed, spring flowers and the birds and insects of this section-It section-It is planned for the teaohers to leave tho central junior high school building at about 10:15, Saturday morning. Lunch tyIH be taken along and most of the day will be spent in the canyon. |
