Show DALEY HELD IN COW JUL Although the local officers have no occasion to hold in jail Walter Daley, the would-be Roy train robber, the young man has not yet been released re-leased and Sheriff DeVIno states that ho cannot say when ho will receive advices from postoffico officials to release him. Lato yesterday afternoon Daley, In answer to questions put to him by Special Officer Joseph Jones of the Oregon Short Line and Sheriff T. A. DeVine, declared he had misled the officers In their Investigations respecting re-specting his confession of the robbery in Laramie. He said that he was sorry sor-ry he had done so. DUey Btates that his home is in Oregon, where his father la now living, liv-ing, but that he has been on tho tramp an extended length of time Sturgis and Young, -whom he implicated implicat-ed in the robbery, he now Bays are only tramps Buch as himself and that they had nothing to do with the robbery, rob-bery, bo far as ho knows.
