Show TOWBOAT SINKS I IN OHIO RIVER I Huntington, W. Va., Feb. 2. The H Sam Brown, a Pittsburg, Pa., towboat, IH sank within a few minutes after her jH boilers exploded in the Ohio river H opposite this city at 11:05 o'clock to- IH day. It is believed that few of tho H crew were saved. H A few survivors from the Sam H Brown, but not more than six in all, H reached the Ohio sido of tho river IH following the explosion. Debris from IH the boat landed on both banks of the IH river. The boat was blown to pieces B and sank immediately. A great ma-v H jority of the members of the crew, H approximately thirty, are believed to IH have perished. H |
