Industrial Alcohol continued contin-ued Its extraordinary gyrations with an early gain of 5 at 1C3 1-2 and Texas company rose two points. Ralls were once more a nominal feature, that part of the list showing more Irregularity Irregu-larity than Industrials and specialties. Secondary offerings were mostly nt lower prices. "' 'Ciu'cago Grain ' Chicago, Fob. 2. Weakness developed devel-oped in the wheat market today, owing ow-ing largely to quotations at Liverpool. It was explained that larger Australian Austra-lian and Argentine shipments to Europe Eu-rope were expected and that a fleet capable of loading 8,000,000 bushels had been obtained for Australia alone. Offerings here, however, were small and tho market accordingly rallied. Opening prices, which ranged from a shade to 7-Slc down, with May at $1.34 to $1.34 3-4. and July at $1.25 5-S to 1 25 7-8, were followed by an upturn up-turn to above yesterday's finish. Favorable weather eased corn. Com-mislon Com-mislon houses took tho buying side, though, when wheat showed a tendency ten-dency to rally. After opening 3-8 to l-2c off, tho corn market underwent some additional decline before beginning begin-ning to recover. Oats swayed with other cereals. The volume of trade was fairly large It required only a few buying orders to lift provisions. There was no pressure pres-sure to sell. Later tho small packers did some realizing and tho market suffered a reaction. It was pointed out that arrivals ar-rivals of hogs at western points today to-day were nearly twice as numerous as on the corresponding day last year. The wheat close wns steady, 1 1-8 1 l-2c to 1 7-S2c lower, with May at $1.33 and July at $1.24 1-2. Tho corn market closed stead at 7-8l to 1 181 3-4c net decline. Omaha Livestock.
