Show BARBERS EiTERTAl TH FRIEIS AT All BALL' Ogden Union No. 53, Journeymen Barbers' International Union of America, Amer-ica, entertained more than 400 of their friends last night at a social dancing party. The event was tho fourth annual an-nual ball and it was held in the Royal Dancing academy. The hall was specially spe-cially decorated for the occasion with artistic care, red, white and blue bunting bunt-ing being draped over tho large mirrors mir-rors and framed pictures and large silk national flags being effectively hung on the walls and from the ceiling. ceil-ing. The official insignia of the organization, or-ganization, a huge wooden razor, was placed In a prominent position at the west end of tho hall and tho punch booth, at tho east end, was decorated with vases of pink carnations. Splendid music was furnished for tho dancing by Grant's augmented orchestra, or-chestra, from 9 p. m. until 1 a. m., the program being as follows: Waltz, two step one step, one step, waltz, schottische,' two step, three step, waltz, quadrille, one step, two step, schottische, fox trot, two step, waltz, Virginia reel, three step, "moon-light" "moon-light" waltz, three step, waltz, one step, waltz quadrille, waltz, schottische, schot-tische, one step, two step and waltz. Encores were numerous. In addition to the souvenir programs, pro-grams, each guest was given a neat celluloid vest pocket 1916 calendar, printed especially for complimentary circulation by the J. B. I. C. of A. Delicious "Fruit of grape" and claret punch was served during the evening by Arne Sumner, with salted peanuts as a side dish. In every way, the crowd was finely entertained and many compliments were paid the committeemen com-mitteemen on the excellent arrangement arrange-ment of the program, and the other features. Harold Staker proved an unusually capable floor manager and was given good assistance by several of his fellow fel-low unionists. Next year the barbers anticipate holding their annual party in the Ber-thana. Ber-thana. The committee responsible for tho success of the party last night is as follows: Oscar Couch, W. H. Staker, W.
