Show ft CELEBRATION ON i CANALOPENING New Orleans, Jan. 8 Celebration of the centenary of peace between Great Britain and the United States was begun here today with a salute of twenty-one guns timed to end 100 years, to the moment, after Andrew Jackson triumphed over the British army at Chalmette.
