Show WH BUB TO DEATH SOUTH OF TWIAI FALLS Twin Falls, Ida., Aug. 23. Word wa3 rccolvo'd here today of the terrible terri-ble death near Churchill, thirty-five miles southeast of Twin Falls, of the four children, aged 2 to S years, of Mr. and MrB. John Tooth and the S-year-old daughter of their neighbor, Julius Harrison. The five children wero locked In tho Tooth ranch home while their parents par-ents went to Churchill to attend a party. The parents, when a mile or two away, noticed a fire In the vicinity of their home, and Mr Tooth, returning to Investigate, found the house nearly consumed by fire. Ho was too lato to rescue the children, chil-dren, whoso bodies were found in various va-rious parts of the ruins, Indicating their attempts to escape. Tho body of tho S-yoar-old Tooth girl was found clasping In her arms that of the 2-year-old baby. Tho origin or-igin of the fire is unknown. oo |
