This condition has created somo con- cern among members of tho faculty, and a process Is now In course of action ac-tion to discover wherein the fault lies. Instructors have inquired of their students how much time they spend In preparation of each of their all over the United States, It Is held that In order to got credit for ono hour of work a student should oc cupy two hours in preparing for each hour of recitation The result of the inquiry was the discovery of the fact that the average time spent in preparation was loss than one hour, accounting fur the largo percentage of unsatisfactory Is the expectation of the faculty that a larpe majority of those now de linquent will make up this deficiency before the end of the present semes- j ter. and that matters will be adjusted i as satisfactorily as heretofore.
