Show Deaths and Funerals FERRIN James M Ferrln, a plo- i nc6r of Weber county, died yestor- J day at his home In Plain City. Death uhs due to heart disease. Mi Fer rin was born July 14. 1838, at Randolph Ran-dolph New York and with blfl par nts. Mr and Mrs. Samuel Ferrln. he v. cut to Springfield 111., where he lived until 1852 That year he came to Utah In the company of Captain I Weeks and settled In Ogden. With I j tlit help of his father and brother, ; lie built one of the first sawmills 1 In Ogden canyon and also helped to ! build the first warehouse In Ogden In the early dsvn he served a a policeman In this city. In 18G0 he Wnt with Captain Dayton's company to Salmon river and served in the campaigning with the Indians. He returned to Utah the next year and the year following was murrled to Eilza Lincoln Mr. Ferrln was tho father of twelve children, five of whom survive him. They are, Mrs. Eliza Robc of St. Anthony, Idaho; Mrs. Sallie. Henlnger of Pleasant Mew. Mrs. Lydl Jones of Ogden. Joseph Ferrln of Jackson Hole, Mont.. rnd Orson Ferrln of Rlgby, Idaho.
