Show 1 1 Society MRS. PURDIE SURPRISED. Wednesday evening of this week, Mrs. William Purdie of 1054 Jackson avenue, was the recipient of a pleasant pleas-ant surprise party teudered by a number -of nor friends and relatives. The affair was a complete surprise and was given in honor of Mrs. Pur- die's birthday anniversary. During the evening various games were enjoyed en-joyed and dainty refreshments were served. Mrs. Purdieureceived many pretty gifts from the following guests present: Messrs. and Mesdames William Wil-liam Purdie, Jr., Arthur Wilson, Joseph Jo-seph Bachman, Walter West. William Willi-am N.
